B Medical Systems offers suitable solutions for the storage and transport of temperature-sensitive products and preparations and has more than 35 years of experience in refrigeration technology. An operating logic was developed for three series of devices designed for the storage of blood products.

Three devices, one common user interface
The control logic developed covers laboratory freezers for low-temperature storage, contact-plate blast freezers for the rapid freezing of blood plasma, and shakers for the homogeneous mixing of plasma and serum within blood units. All three devices are based on a standardised operating concept with identical menu structures, but differ in their range of functions.
Flexibly scalable
Within the product range, the operating logic has been transferred from a high-end version with a 7-inch touchscreen to a basic version with a 4.3-inch display and a membrane keypad. In addition, the software uses RFID codes to manage the tinned goods and document a seamless cold chain.
The result is a cross-device pattern library based on a consistent look and feel, with options for customisation. The consistent iconography and user interface structure makes it easier to navigate other products in the range.
