Communication Without Cables
A standout feature of the SOLO² is the wireless Bluetooth connection between the control unit and the drive unit. Pre-set driving programmes allow the user to switch easily between different settings. Even with the control unit removed, the wheelchair can still be steered at a very low speed – ideal, for example, for manoeuvring precisely up to the edge of a table.
Comfort, user-friendliness, and high functionality
Thanks to its narrow working width, the SOLO² guarantees excellent manoeuvrability even in the tightest of spaces, allowing it to pass through doorways and turn on the spot.
The easily removable lithium-ion battery is integrated directly into the drive wheel. The battery can remain in the drive wheel whilst charging. For added safety and range, a second battery can be carried in the wheel as an option.
The wheelchair remains foldable even with SOLO², which makes it easier to transport and store.
Freedom That Inspires
The control unit features a modern design and ergonomic layout; the joystick’s unique shape ensures a better grip and differs from the classic joystick design. The drive can be fitted quickly and without the need for tools. The SOLO² can also be retrofitted if the wheelchair is fitted with a plug-in axle, making it compatible with almost any wheelchair model.
Another highlight is the easily removable lithium-ion battery, which is integrated directly into the drive wheel. Thanks to the IPX4-rated charging socket, the battery can be charged directly whilst still in the wheel, without the user having to remove it. This elegant solution ensures an aesthetically pleasing appearance, as there is no need to mount an additional battery underneath the wheelchair.
