As part of the project, we oversaw the conceptual and design overhaul of the company’s website and provided support for its technical implementation.

The common thread
The corporate identity we redesigned formed the basis for the digital presence and was consistently applied to the website.
A key part of the relaunch was the reorganisation and expansion of the website’s content. The new main navigation distinguishes between products and applications, thereby offering visitors different ways to start their search: either by a specific product or by the relevant application.
Insights into production
Additional content provides an insight into the company’s in-house manufacturing and places greater emphasis on bespoke solutions as a further area of business. In this way, the website showcases not only the product range but also the company’s expertise and capabilities.
To create an authentic visual style, we also organised and oversaw a photoshoot at the production and office premises. The required scenes were documented in advance in a storyboard, and the visual style was defined in mood boards. The resulting imagery brings to life the people, processes and products behind Planencenter and lends the new website a personal touch.
Design toolkit for various layouts
To this end, we defined a modular design system that expands the existing brand identity to include additional secondary colours, a new font optimised for digital media, and distinctive design elements.
Recurring design elements such as slanted surfaces, icons and illustrations create a distinctive visual identity whilst enabling a consistent and flexible design for the various website contents. Layout templates have been defined for frequently used elements, e.g. for tile and list designs, the knowledge blog, key figures, etc.
Product illustrations
In addition, we developed clear illustrations that clearly show the different types of tarpaulins and spring-loaded covers, as well as the various roof designs available for trailers, making it easier to navigate the product range.
