For HSM’s SECURIO series of shredders, the previously analog user interface was fundamentally redesigned. The goal was to equip the devices with a multitouch display while significantly simplifying the user experience. EINMALEINS developed a comprehensive user interface concept for this purpose, ranging from interaction to the visual design of the interface.

Intuitive Operation Redefined
The new user interface follows a clear, minimalist structure and makes even complex functions directly accessible. Users can find their way around without any training and navigate confidently through all applications. This transforms tried-and-tested technology into a contemporary, digital user experience.
Function made visible
With a swipe gesture, users can quickly switch between different operating modes such as Standard, Silent or Performance. Status messages are displayed on the colour screen as easy-to-understand illustrations, whilst animations visualise the shredder’s current operation. The strategic use of red as an accent colour highlights important information and ensures clear navigation within the interface.
